They’re Baaaaack! By Popular Demand! After completing a highly successful “29” show performance tour in 2008, they’re back with their “new” show for the “2018 National Performing Artists Series Tour” entitled…. The Tom & Shondra Show—A Musical Extravaganza! Steve Sandner, one of the finest pianists and vocalists in the USA, will join them on stage. Together, this group of seasoned performers will combine their talents into this 75-minute show that is jam-packed with handpicked selections from Tom & Shondra’s vast & versatile song repertoire. Some of what you’ll enjoy will come from the American Songbook 40’s era of Frank Sinatra & Cole Porter, cool 50’s favorites, and rockin’ 60’s & 70’s, with some songs from Sonny & Cher, Nancy Sinatra, Neil Diamond, and Tina Turner, to name a few. Add in a bit of country with Johnny Cash, a few beloved show tunes from the Broadway stage, and a sprinkle of comedy, and you’ll have a complete, fun & family-friendly experience in “LIVE” entertainment. It’ll leave you cheering for more!

Tom Jepperson has a vast professional experience as a singer, actor, producer & director, writer, emcee, and entertainer. Not only has he performed in Lake Tahoe & Vegas as the “opening act” for “Tony Bennett,” “Shari Lewis,” “Red Buttons,” and “J.P. Morgan,” he’s also performed in musicals with the likes of “Florence Henderson,” “Chita Rivera,” “Leslie Neilson,” “Darren McGavin,” “Earl Holliman,” “Ricardo Montalban,” “Dorothy Warenskjold,” “Juliet Prowse,” “Johnny Mann,” “Celeste Holm,” and “Burt Lancaster.” He’s had the privilege of touring the USA in shows with “Jane Powell & Company” and the “Dorothy Warenskjold Opera Tour.” To add a few more accolades to his resume, he’s performed the lead in such musicals as Lancelot in “Camelot” and Curly in “Oklahoma,” while also performing on several popular cruise lines, starring in his shows. Those who’ve visited the 300-seat Blazin’ M Ranch, located in Cottonwood, AZ, have enjoyed seeing Tom’s performance as the comedic character “Otis” in their popular cowboy dinner shows. His recent portrayal of “Ebeneezer Scrooge” in “The Christmas Carol Radio Play” had sold-out shows and received huge rave reviews.

Shondra Jepperson is adored as one of ”The Dynamite Divas,” who finished up their recent successful tour for NPA this past January of 2016. She is an alumnus of the “Juilliard School of Drama” with impressive acting & performance credits. Along with her formal training in musical theater, her musical roots are in rock, pop, and blues, having led her to show bands & rock bands for over 18 years, performing nightly shows and concerts in Reno, Las Vegas, and throughout the Southern California area. Like her husband, she has enjoyed performing her shows on many of the popular cruise lines as well. She’s an “international” singer/songwriter, recording concert artist, and publisher registered with BMI. Her CDs I Am and Inside Fire are available on ShondraMusic.com, iTunes, and other sites. Her catalogue of originals includes a vast range of genres from rock, pop, country rock, blues, power ballads, theme songs, and anthems. One important area to add to her impressive resume is New Thought Inspirational Pop Tunes, including theme anthems for such organizations as “The Gilda Radner Award Show called ‘Laugh for Life Cancer Survivors,’ ‘Keep Sedona Beautiful,’ ‘Walking Free Against Sex Trafficking,’ and ‘The Humane Society of Sedona.’ She’s currently the songwriter for Delta Dental’s show, ”The Mouth Project”, which will be touring in the spring of 2017. How this busy lady finds time… she is also a voice, acting, performance & life coach.

Steve Sandner (Pianist & Vocalist): Originally hailing from the Chicago, Illinois area, Steve now enjoys the beautiful weather and extraordinary scenery in Sedona, AZ. He’s best known for his musical “Jazz” style, which brings in some of those great elements from the classic big band, blues, and swing eras. When listening to Steve play, close your eyes, and you’ll also hear influences from such greats as “Nat King Cole,” “Bill Evans,” and “Oscar Peterson.” But keep in mind, Steve’s talents do not just stop there, as his vocals carry echoes of those famous “crooners,” “Frank Sinatra & Harry Connick Jr.,” while adding in a little bit of “Charles Brown,” who was known for his soft-toned blues style of delivery. Steve’s most versatile musical combination is with a jazz trio, though he’ll often be seen performing as a solo, duo, or even in larger groups. Since Steve has extensive experience as a “sideman” in jazz, pop, rock, and blues, he often finds himself in great demand accompanying many other vocalists, who simply adore him. They say with jazz music, it’s easy to please a crowd of jazz aficionados, but to keep those folks who aren’t particularly jazz fans engaged in hearing and appreciating his talent speaks volumes for his style, delivery, and appeal.

NOTE: This show is being created specifically for the 2018 NPA Series Tour, so there won’t be any video of it. However, with the success of Tom & Shondra’s 2008 tour as well as Shondra’s success with The Dynamite Divas in 2016, NPA could not be prouder to have these great entertainers a part of our series again.
